My friend and I stayed a few nights, second week in September. The Hotel had good size car park with free parking. We had a room each in the Annex which is situated just outside the main building on the car park. They looked like cute chalets, so we liked them straight away. The rooms were furnished very modestly but were very clean. Our beds were comfortable and had very clean white sheets. The shower was fantastic, a power shower. Both bathrooms was very clean, although the tiles in both needed the grout touching up. The whole decor in both rooms was fine and it looked like they had been recenly decorated. There was a little bit of noise coming from the Loco Restaurant at the back of the Annex at night, but very little to be concerned about, and it went completely quiet well before midnight.
There is a disabled ramp outside the Annex as an option to enter the building as well as the normal entrance for anyone disabled, but there was no evidence of our rooms being specially adapted for disabled people, apart from them being on the ground level. The rooms were very normal. I liked the fact that there were switches next to the bed on the wall for the lights and TV, so there was no need for a lampshade. We were very happy with our rooms.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, handy for everything. The breakfast was fabulous, although the Dining Room staff did not wear face masks. The Domestic staff who cleaned the rooms did wear face masks. Other than this, the hotel did observe Covid-19 recommendations, including handing out our complimentary te/coffee/milk/sugar/shampoo at the Reception, rather than having them in the Rooms. It would have been good to have had a small bottle of HandSanitizer in the pack, but there was Hand Sanitizer in the main building. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and you could ask for more milk/sugar etc at any time.
The Main building was very much like the photographs on their website. The Maritime Dining Room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. There was also Bars in the hotel, and we sat in one of them and had a lovely Baileys Latte. Loca Restaurant looked lovely too, although we didn't try it.
I can't comment on the bedrooms in the main building, but we were really happy with our rooms in the Annex. I will definitely use the Sea Hotel again because it is lovely, clean, good breakfast, nice clean rooms, facilities onsite (bars and restaurant, and their own entertainment at certain times) great location and handy for everything. less

:) Thank you for the review. With regards to face masks within the hotel we have been going of government guidelines. since guidelines have now changed and made it mandatory for staff to wear masks we are currently adhering to this. Thanks again.
