Who may participate in the Best Western Business Advantage Programme?
Currently, the Best Western Business Advantage Programme is only available to companies in the U.S, Canada and GB.

Can all the Best Western Rewards (BWR®) points go to one main account so that the company gets the points and not the business stayers since our company is paying for their rooms?
No. The programme is set up to award the company a 10% bonus of all the points earned from the business stayers stays, while the individual business stayer earns the points for the stays.

Why do the business stayers each need to have their own Best Western Rewards account? 
This is necessary to link the business stayers to the company account so that the 10% bonus of the points earned by the business stayers’ stays can be automatically issued to the company. It is also necessary so that each business stayer in the company receives the elite recognition and rewards for the business they provide to Best Western.

How do I enrol/add new employees to my Business Advantage account? 
Please send an email to businessdevelopment@bestwestern.co.uk along with the employees first name, last name, email address and BW Rewards number if applicable.

Why is it necessary to provide an email address for each business stayer from within the same company? 
This is important so that we can provide each business stayer with the Corporate ID and information necessary to receive the 8% discount as well as the Best Western Rewards account number so that each business stayer and the company can receive the points for their stays at Best Western. It also allows us to keep each stayer and company updated on their point balance, programme updates and special offers.

Why can’t we get one rate for all Best Western hotels?
Our hotels offer competitive rates for their geographic region and vary based on the season. 

Will Best Western Rewards cards be sent to the stayers so they can remember their account number?
Yes, if the stayer is new to the Best Western Rewards programme as a result of the company enrolling in Best Western Business Advantage, then they will receive an electronic membership card to the email address on the account within 2 to 4 weeks of enrolment. A confirmation and welcome email will be sent within 3 to 5 business days after enrolment with the Best Western Rewards account number.

Is there a fee for enrolling in the programme?
No there are no fees associated to this programme.

What is the difference between a Corporate Account ID and a Best Western Rewards number and why do we need both?
The Corporate Account ID is necessary to ensure you receive the discount when making a reservation on bestwestern.co.uk or when calling our Central Reservations Office. The Best Western Rewards number is necessary for both the individual business stayer and the company to receive points for stays at Best Western hotels. 

When our employees book with Best Western, would our company also accumulate points from their stays as long as they use our Corporate ID -- even if they are not enrolled in the programme?
The Corporate ID only ensures that the business stayer receives the discount. All business stayers in the company need to be enrolled in Best Western Rewards to receive points for Best Western stays. The Business Advantage programme is set up to award the company a 10% bonus of all the points earned from the company business stayer stays, while the individual stayer earns the points for the stays.

How much is the BW Business Advantage Member Discount?
Qualified businesses may receive a discount of 8% off BAR rates at GB hotels. The 8% discounted rate includes breakfast.

How many points are accumulated per night?
For the individual business stayer, they will earn 10 Best Western Rewards points for every U.S. dollar spent on their room rate. The company will earn a 10% bonus from the points that the travellers earn. For example, if a traveller stays 2 nights at a rate of $85 per night (USD), then they will earn 1,700 points for that stay ($85 x 2 nights x 10 points = 1,700 points). Then 10% of those points (170) will go into the main company account.

How many points do you need to redeem for a free night?
Point redemption levels vary by property and starts at 8,000 points. Please visit www.bestwestern.co.uk/rewards for more information on the different free night award levels, as well as the other many ways you can use your points.

If I sign my company up for Best Western Business Advantage, will I be able to get direct billing so my business stayers won’t have to use their own credit cards?
Direct billing is arranged with each individual property, we do not offer centralised billing. Please contact the hotels that you frequent to discuss direct billing.

I travel to Europe; can I get the same discount there?
Best Western Business Advantage points and perks are earned globally.

What if some of my business stayers don’t have an email address? Can they still be enrolled in the programme?
Yes, they can still be enrolled in the programme. While it is not a requirement, having an email address on the account is important so that we can provide each business stayer with the Corporate ID and information necessary to receive the 8% discount as well as the Best Western Rewards account number so that each business stayer and the company can receive the points for their stays at Best Western. It also allows us to keep each business stayer and company updated on their point balance, program updates and special offers.
