Clementine's Town House Hotel, BW Premier Collection

Loved this hotel from the moment we walked in and were greeted by a very friendly male receptionist. Decor is absolutely fabulous, with a very grand feel. We stayed 3 nights in the Yorkie Suite which is a 4 poster room early Jan 2022. We had a great welcome from Becca who was really helpful throughout our stay. The room was a good size, cozy, not too big and the bed was so comfortable. The shower room was massive as was the shower with oodles of hot water. The Hotel is ‘quirky’ (you’ll just have visit to find out why), very sumptuous decorated in period style. The well stocked bar is a great place to relax after exploring the historical city, which is in easy reach, just a short walk from the hotel. We parked our car on arrival and didn’t use it until we left, we did have a go on the electric scooters which are parked nearby and throughout the city. There is a good choice of breakfasts which are lovely, and there are refreshments available in the rooms, we had a Yorkie and Kit Kat alongside the kettle and coffee machine. Water and milk can be requested too. A lovely cat called Teddy who lives across the road spends most of his time in the hotel and is a great hit with the guests. We would definitely recommend the Clementine and would stay again. less

Quirky boutique hotel. Beautifully furnished and in excellent condition.superb staff, any problems sorted quickly and efficiently. Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, wide choice but a choice of fresh fruit would be appreciated. However there was a bowl of Clementines in the lounge. Well situated ,short walk into town. Situated in a quiet residential road. Would stay again if in York less

Double room.....you are having a laugh!! Thank goodness we are not a big framed couple!!! Still managed to hurt my back on the picture frame!! With a little thought this room could be made so much better,as it is it is major struggle to do anything!! less

My other half booked this hotel for my 30th birthday. Upon checkin the upgraded us to the Chocolate Orange room which had a 4 poster bed and a HUGE jacuzzi bath. They had also organised (at an additional charge) a birthday balloon and prosecco to be in the room for our arrival. The location is great, 10-15 mins walk to the castle walls. Staff were very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel as we felt the £15pp was alot considering you can get a lovely cooked breakfast for less in town. less
