Stayed at the Tucson Airport Best Western last year and had a great experience. Decided to stay here again based on the nice stay we had previously. VERY disappointed.! They did not give us the suite we reserved by the pool, instead gave us a noisy one along a busy road overlooking the parking lot. Our room , which we notified was for late check in, was not ready when we arrived at 11:30 p.m. One shower had not curtain, the other no hot water.
Previously had a nice hot breakfast buffet, and I called to confirm the same. Instead, provided a very low quality to go "snack." Each morning they were out of coffee and there was a 20-minute wait while the reservation clerk make more. There was no housekeeping for a 2-night stay, which is totally understandable during COVID, but staff did not inform us upon making our reservation or during our stay. Although the staff were consistently very friendly and helpful, it did not make up for the lack of communication, dismal breakfast, and suite being switched to a lower quality one. Perhaps there has been a change of management. less
