Having a relative who works for BW, 6 family members took her suggestion and were able to utilize her points to stay in Tucson a five hour drive south from our homes. So really shouldn't complain since free stay. This location was convenient since we were attending a funeral at Southlawn Cemetery nearby the next day. Check in and front desk staff, especially Carla? were very helpful in and out. I had erroneously thought I left an iPhone cord in room and they checked with housekeeping the next day and she called me back in a timely manner, and let remaining family guests know when they checked out that I had found it. The room was dated with carpet and drapes and bathroom, yet clean, and beds comfortable. New flat screen tv. Good fridge with freezer, but no microwave. Our only complaint was hotel not very full and yet we were placed on 2nd floor at the farthest end of two long halls, to which we had to push luggage cart and walk in and out.
The restaurant located in hotel, although we decided to go out for Mexican food, chosen from a list given by hotel, was convenient for dinner and had a bar till 10pm. Free breakfast in am was very good: hot:-scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, home fries, as well as cold cereals, breads, fresh fruit. Being unable to use sugary maple syrup, requested sugar free maple syrup, which some hotels do have. To her credit the waitress checked and no, but she said she wrote request on a communication board. Would also have preferred no added salt to home fries, allow guest to add- very salty. Also booth seats had springs sprung, saggy and so uncomfortable.
Too cool for pool, yet enjoyed hot tub. Only decaf coffee placed in room, and unable to obtain new regular coffee packets until am next day, none available at front desk, who said they would deliver, yet we had to call again for and then brought by housekeeping. Had to request more towels as well since 4 people in room, which they were aware of and I think should have thought of. Overall a very good stay and excellent staff. less

We take this feedback and use it to implement improvements and training for our team members. A couple of updates to share. We are in the process of putting microwaves in all of our guest rooms and do have some available on request. We are also now offering sugar free maple syrup in our dining room and I have spoke to the Chef regarding the salty fries. We hope you will stay with us again and continue to provide this valuable feedback!
