The hotel is located a bit out of town, which makes for a quiet night; from about 7 am the road passing the hotel spoils the effect, though – although the traffic is not heavy. If you come by train, a taxi from the station will cost you about 17 € (more with traffic) and take about 10 minutes - to be considered when choosing the hotel by price...
The check-in was efficient and friendly; I was even shown to my room, as - due to its integration into an existing historic building - the navigation through the building is a bit complex, with winding routes to the rooms (which I had to use various times since the key card for the room kept malfunctioning - apparently not just an exception).
The rooms are of reasonable size, with a modern and warm interior; the beds are comfortable, and equippped with two types of pillows. Thankfully the windows can be fully darkened (motorized shutters plus curtains) – except for the bathroom (which has a transparent door), spoiling the effect somewhat.
The soundproofing of the rooms is also limited – expect to hear the cleaners talk and your neighbours sneeze (although most come for a quiet night). The wifi was a bit weak, but worked (free of charge).
The bathrooms are ok, but a bit small; they have all the amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel.
The breakfast is appropriate for a 4-start hotel, but nothing to write home about. less
