We had a great stay at the Best Western. We booked early for a trip in the offseason and got a great rate. Think we only paid around 140/night for an ocean view. We were a little worried reading the more recent reviews and the response from the BW saying there would be renovations coming in the fall. Thought it was going to be run down/dirty, but it was great (room 302). Really the only issues we had were with the doors. The door entering the room you had to forcefully push to open, and the door to the balcony you literally had to stand with both feet planted to push it open. We were worried the handle was going to break opening the balcony door.
Actually not sure what they plan on updating. Our room was great. We booked ocean view and got the 3rd floor, so you could see the ocean, but one of the upper floors would be even better. Great view of the sunrise in the morning. Having the sitting area was nice. No need to be cramped sitting around on the bed like a normal hotel room.
Everything was clean and in well working order. The furniture in the living room, the kitchenette area, bathroom, and bedrooms we had no issues with. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept great.
Breakfast/laundry on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was good, and the two attendants working the few days we were there were nice. They had little cheese omelets three mornings, scrambled eggs another. Sausage every morning as well as biscuits/gravy and waffles (regular and a different flavor every day-blueberry, banana nut, strawberry). Other assorted continental breakfast items. Washing machines took credit cards, but driers didn't. Went to front desk for change, they were out. She had $1.50 in quarters in her purse, so we took that and gave her $2 and had a couple in the car. Change machine would be nice.
Convenient beach access. We made our way to the first floor then walked through the pool out that exit and up over the dune. I'd say from leaving the room on the 3rd floor to being on the sand was only a few minutes.
Pool area was nice. Plenty of seating around the pool so we relaxed there a bit too. Enjoyed a little dip in the pool, relax in the hot tub.
Didn't hear any noise from nearby rooms except for their door which as I said was hard to open and closed hard. Plenty of parking, and two elevators. One on each side of the hotel. We walked down the stairs, and used the elevator to go up. less

Thank you! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate all of the kind comments that you gave us. When we do our renovations, we will be replacing all of the sliding glass doors with french doors. We are replacing all of our a/c units. We will also be updating our furniture and drapes. Our lobby will also be undergoing a complete overhaul. We hope that you will come back and see us again soon!
