Reasonable Price but Dated Facility

We arrived fairly early and requested a first floor room. We were told one would be available in about 10 minutes which turned into about 20 minutes but still acceptable. The room was clean, cool, and dimly lit. It was located near the pool, the breakfast room and several tables making it very convenient. There was some noise by people walking by talking loud but generally it was not bad. The heat/cool was under our control and easy to adjust. The rug looked like it needed cleaning and was threadbare in places.
Location is good if you want walking access to several chain restaurants and Ripley's. Breakfast was satisfactory but a step below another BW we stayed in the prior week. I was surprised to see 4 people working the breakfast room but they did a good job keeping the plates full. A nice touch by one of the workers was walking around with a plate of cookies for anyone who wanted one. I did not see a tip jar but would have tipped for the service we received.
We has some mechanical issues with the room one of which was fixed quickly but the second one did not get addressed after 2 requests. We were there 3 nights so plenty of time to fix that issue. They use low wattage lights so the room was not very bright. Trying to shave by the mirror was a challenge. We left the door open to get fresh air and additional light. less
