Very noisy building site next door. Don’t expect a quiet holiday if being put at the back of the hotel. The food was not very good. My wife ordered the fish it had more bones than fish. I ordered the beef stroganoff it had no taste . It was very bland. Also people we’re walking around with no face masks on and we’re not challenged. We also had to clean our own rooms and empty our own bins. Had to buy cleaning materials to clean the bathroom and toilet. less

There is building work in operation adjacent to the hotel. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, however, the Director of the Hotel has spoken with the building team and they will endeavour to keep the potential noise down where possible and be aware early in the morning.
If you had spoken to our reception team during your stay we could have allocated you an alternative room (subject to availability).
I'm sorry to read the evening food did not meet with your expectations. Your comments have been given to our Head Chef to review with her team.
Currently rooms are only cleaned upon departure. Fresh towels or additional tea/coffee etc can be delivered to your room or collected from reception.
Guests are challenged when seen without masks, however, the lack of mask is normally apparent on the corridors. There are people that are exempt from wearing a face mask who unfortunately do not always wear the appropriate lanyard which makes if difficult for guest to distinguish.
