As part of a Wowcher deal, a friend and I had the good fortune of staying in the Best Western Blaine and Francis Hotel.
All the staff were polite, welcoming and courteous from arrival through to departure.
Check in was slick and we could leave our bags there to go off into Milan ( we had arrived early so our room was not ready).
On our return our key card was ready. Our room with the requested twin beds was a really good size.
A mini-bar fridge which was useful for milk for our tea / coffee. The room had a kettle.
The bathroom was fine with generous towels, toiletries and hairdryer.
We paid extra for breakfast ( 10 euros). It was delicious - a buffet style ... from eggs, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt - the crusty bread was so fresh and chunky apricot/ strawberry/ cheery jams were divine.
Pastries & cake too.
It was 5/10 minutes from the metro but if you have no actual plans then I would say a good walk into Milan but easy if you like walking and would certainly do that when I stay again.
I would not hesitate to go again- so much more to see in Milan. less
