Quite a few issues. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and we will not be back. Burnt out lightbulbs, bulk lotion dispenser held rancid lotion, a lot of noise in the room when we requested a quiet room ( we were placed in a room right next to a major busy road -36th Avenue) and had to pack up everything and request to be moved to the opposite end of the hotel where it was much quieter. But absolutely no apology or acknowledgment of the fact that this was a major disruption to our short stay. The hotel has the general appearance of being rundown. It does seem like they are trying to address this because they were replacing whole carpeting while we were there. But this hotel has a long ways to go. Considering that this is priced at $85 a night in the winter I would be quite unhappy if I paid the summer price! less

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We certainly apologize for not meeting your expectations and do hope you may reconsider in the future and give us another shot. We strive to offer excellent customer service and an unmatched price/value ratio and we will use your comments immediately to continue building a satisfactory experience for our guests here at the Best Western Golden Lion. As you mentioned, we are in the midst of a beautiful renovation project as we continue to grow and offer the best available product to our guests. We can't wait for our carpet to be completed and to have that feature to add to our new lobby furniture, guest room furniture, and many other updates already completed at our hotel. We understand these updates do impact our guests stay while in progress and we do regret that.
Thank you again for your comments and safe travels,
Adam M Winslow
