I don’t usually leave reviews, but I would not recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in plenty of Best Western hotels and loved the hotels. This particular one had multiple issues. I’ve never had to switch a room before and I thought that I accidentally booked a smoking room because when I went in the first one (125), it was such a strong smell of smoke. I explained to the front desk staff that if I booked a smoking room on accident, I was sorry & I have asthma, so I couldn’t stay in a smoking room. He told me that the room was non-smoking & he had a spray that takes cigarette smoke away. I explained that wouldn’t work and he moved us to (126). This room was so gross and dirty, at one point my daughter fell beside the bed (not under, just beside the bed next to the wall) and came up covered in dust, lint & who knows what else. It was so disgusting that she needed to shower just to get cleaned up from the floor next to the bed. The door appeared to have been taken off the pins and hinges in the past. There were holes and dings in the walls that some had been patched and not all repaired or covered. The base boards were not removed or replaced when the carpet was, so there’s like 1/2 inch gap where dust mites and other gross stuff was hiding and couldn’t be cleaned. The comforters were dirty with spots on them and the beds were hard. I often can look past imperfections and issues, but this hotel had too many to mention or count. On the plus side, the lady doing the breakfast was pleasant, but she didn’t have much to work with in the breakfast room. And even though it was small, she had it clean and organized. I think she did the best she could, but I was surprised to not see at least a waffle maker. There were dry biscuits & gravy, but the only way you might get a hot breakfast otherwise is by warming up a refrigerated Hot Pocket or a refrigerated packaged waffle. We often book Best Westerns because my kids like making the waffles, so that was a first for us. If I had known there was a Residence Inn in Corona for the same price, I would’ve stayed there. less

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and it's apparent that you spent a lot of time and thought on your response. As the owner of this establishment I can say that your long and heartfelt review is quite disheartening for me to read. We are a family owned business and take great pride in this property. The staff is like family and the housekeepers as well as all of the staff take great pride in their work and your review will be used as a training tool. We've been remodeling and spending a lot to keep this a comfortable place to stay as it has been for so many years. We are non smoking so I'm not certain what went wrong. My sincere apologies that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. I'm not sure what you were looking for as we advertise ourselves as what we are. On behalf of the entire staff and myself I do hope that your stay with us will not hinder you to choose another Best Western Hotel in the future.
