Best Western Glenspean Lodge Hotel.

Best Western Glenspean Lodge Hotel is tucked away in an idyllic spot near Fort William, just two miles outside of the pretty little village of Roy Bridge. Sitting on a peaceful hillside with beautiful mountain views, the hotel offers the perfect place to reflect and relax! In a delightfully secluded setting, the hotel is a world away from everyday life and its unwanted distractions. From walks, canoeing and fishing to quad biking, paintballing and clay pigeon shooting, we can arrange lots of activities during your stay, so it's not too peaceful!

Our beautiful dining room only adds to the magical atmosphere here at the Best Western Glenspean Lodge Hotel. As you enjoy a romantic meal, you can gaze out over Ben Nevis (as well as into each others eyes of course!). If you want to venture out and enjoy the freshest of fresh air, you'll find wonderful walks within our five acres of hillside and woodland. Just 20 minutes away, you'll also find our famous little Cille Choirill - a little church on the hill used in the filming of Monarch of the Glen.

Breathtaking views over the surrounding area await, or you could go down to the gorge and walk across the rickety bridge (which is now a rather up-to-date strong bridge, but will always be called the rickety bridge by the locals!).

Maintaining high brand standards and excellence in quality is second nature to the Best Western Glenspean Lodge Hotel, in Fort William. We have proven that going that extra mile during our annual Best Western quality assurance assessments really does pay off. Our hard work and dedication to cleanliness and quality of both guest rooms and public areas has gained us the Best Western International Quality Award. A global recognition of excellence given to only a few selected hotels throughout the world, this award shows that we take pride in offering high levels of excellence in quality and brand standards our guests expect.

Thank you for your lovely review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay in our home, unfortunately wi-fi is out of our hands at the moment as the only provider to the area has told us they wont be improving it any time soon so we are now looking at other options and ways we can improve it through some other means, even though the government has said everyone will have hi speed internet it seems the company doing it say we wont, so its a bit of a headache for us, but hopefully people come here more for the surroundings than the internet. We hope we can welcome you back if your ever in the area again. Ian & Suzanne

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, we only get the occasional bat if people leave their windows wide open its not something that happens often, unfortunately the midges come every summer around June, July and August but the rest of the year it is pleasant to sit outside as they are gone so its worth remembering that for the future :) we hope we can welcome you back if your ever in the area. Thank you for your review, we do put our Mushrooms on a small plate so there does seem a lot of sauce but without it the pastry base would be very dry and not as tasty, the steak Pie is made with pure meat no gravy inside and could also be very dry if it didn't have the gravy over , It is one of our most popular dishes its a shame the family member who recommended it didn't say how it come if you'd asked we could have changed it onto another plate with less gravy it would have been no trouble, our menu does say "Chunky Chips" so guests do usually expect them to be big., we are known for our large portions. regards Suzanne
