Having enjoyed numerous excellent meals at Glenspean Lodge I felt, after reading the latest 'review', it necessary to express my support for the hotel, it's management and staff.
As can be seen from the numerous excellent reviews over the last few years almost every one who had either EATEN or STAYED there has been nothing but complimentary. Why anyone would what amounts to a negative review for an establishment they have neither eaten or stayed at is beyond me.
Ok, you had a , what 25 minute drive....for the sole purpose of eating there? If so, why not, given the time of year, spend two minutes to ring first and make a reservation?
To, in effect, submit a negative review for a hotel / restaurant in question is, in my opinion, extremely unfair.
Why not simply submit a review for the establishment you did eat at and mention it was the only one open in the immediate area?
I would hope that if you are in the area ever again you will actually take the opportunity to sample the quality of the meals on offer........I would advise ringing first tho as, you can see from the Tripadvisor reviews, it is extremely well liked. less
