First of all I came into town to visit family. I was put in a room where my foot got cut open due to glass chards being in the carpet from the sliding glass door being replaced due to a lawn mower throwing a rock and breaking it. Then they moved me into another room, then next day the told me they were sorry they didnt get all glass out of carpet and what had previously happened. They offered me a free night and then put me in a room with a tv half the size of the one I was in before, the patio was dirty with cig butts pilled in the corner and the bathroom was old with dust and dirt particales on the floor and dead bugs in the bathtub, there for I could tell this was one of the rooms that had not been renovated and I guess since I get a free night for spending $500plus at the ER the night before I get put in the room that they would not occupy anyway due to the condition. At that moment I went above the asst manager to the GM. I sent pictures of the condition of the room they transferred me too and never got a response. At that moment it was about 2-pm and we packed our things and went to the Double Tree across the hwy. Later come to find out they had fraudulently charged my amex for not only the night that was suppose to be free in which we didn't even stay but they still charged the card without letting me know. I had stayed there 3 nights when this happened on the forth night and the moved us to the "free night room". in which we left due to the condition and disrespect. however they charged us for that 4th night that was suppose to be free and we didn't even stay past 3pm and also let them know we were leaving and we checked out and paid for our 3 nights. it was a few days later we had charges on our same card for the room that was suppose to be free and we did not even stay in. Of course we disputed it and our ccard company reversed the charges. This was a complete disaster. Not to mention my wifes I pad dissapeared, in which we forgot in the room but they said they never found it. Yeah Right! Such a terrible Management team that can ruin the success of a nice hotel. LSU Alumni owns this particular hotel in which I hope after contacting corporate they can get some good honest employees. I should have filed a law suit but I'm blessed in the way that money is not an issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing they have going for them is the breakfast! Let me add that I travel for a living working in the southeastern region and stay at hotels 75% of the time. less

There were several "stories" given to the front desk and management about your stay. We have concluded from not having an ID, no credit card, trying to use another person's credit card, attempting to not pay for bar charges, stating that you purposefully stepped on glass because you thought it was salt from a margarita glass (when the glass was several inches in length), not providing any documentation whatsoever from any hospital and no physical evidence of any actual injury (not cut, no blood, etc.), not vacating the room by checkout when your room when a new reservation was made online for multiple one night stays (stating reasons like you and your guest had been at the hospital all night due to her miscarriage when you both racked up bar charges over $60.00 each night) and ultimately resulting in staff members having to call the police with you fleeing, and so on, that there was some sort of scam going on. As mentioned to you, you are no longer able to stay at our property with just cause.
