We stayed at this Best Western for one night for a special local event. The rates were high for what we were getting (a two star hotel), but this is Winter Park after all. The rooms were acceptable and clean. They included in-room coffee (as usual, not that great), a fridge, and a microwave. Important to us, the WiFi in the hotel worked well - strong signal and plenty of bandwidth. We had one small problem with the bathroom which the front desk addressed in under a minute.
I wasn't expecting much, but thought that the breakfast was surprisingly good for this type of hotel. Better than I expected. The coffee with breakfast was very good (when was the last time that happened?). The front area of the hotel is set aside for breakfast. Driving by it almost looks like a small restaurant at the front. The size of this was nice - no small over-crowded room to have breakfast in! Another nice surprise in the morning.
The hot tub was hot and clean, located inside of a small, outdoor building behind the hotel. Our room was quiet. We all slept well.
I was surprised by an extra $10 pet fee for our dog, but if you dig it is stated on their web site (just getting a pet friendly room didn't mean there's no additional charge). We did, however, accept a milkbone treat for our dog.
All things considered, we will certainly consider staying here again the next time we're in Winter Park. less
