We were impressed by the exterior of the hotel.Very old with ivy covered walls. The lobby was warm and inviting. We were checked in by an efficient and friendly Greek male receptionist.
Our room although small and a little dark was very nice, with a four poster bed. The bathroom was a good size and both rooms were clean and warm.
The shower was easy to use and had good pressure and temperature.
Tea and coffee were provided along with extra pillows, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a fan.
Lunch was very goof I had fish and chips, while my wife had a beef sandwich. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Our dinner was also very nice, with good service.
The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
We had breakfast at approx 9am And service was polite and prompt.
The porridge was hot and creamy. English breakfast was pretty good, but the beans and sausage could have been hotter.
Dinner the second night was equally good. We had omelettes the second morning and they were very good.
Overall we were impressed, especially for £87 with Secret Escapes deal, and we would be happy to stay again.
