I’m going to SureStay somewhere else next time.
Don’t even know where to begin... booked a stay from a Thursday - Sunday. Booked and paid for Thursday night, but arrived early on Friday morning at 5:00AM. 1) upon arrival, I’m greeted with a telephone. It says to ring the phone for service and I was waiting for someone to answer in the back that didn’t initially answer due to the fact that they had headphones on. 2) Checked into a room which is supposed to be a Suite, which had two separate rooms, but only one TV. Desk chair was torn and tattered and the door to the additional room, nor the restroom door, locked either. 3) The faucet to the restroom sink was placed awkwardly in the corner so it caused water to splash everywhere when trying to wash your hands. 4) When in the Breakfast Room, there were cockroaches crawling by the cabinets where food is stored. Cereal was stale and overall breakfast presentation was sub-par so we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. (This was all experienced on Friday morning...) we were tired from driving 10 hours so we decided to crash and get some sleep. We woke up hours later on Friday afternoon and left the hotel to enjoy a day out. When we returned that evening, 5) when taking a shower, water started dripping from the ceiling from the room above. We knew it wasn’t from the water that we were showering with because we were taking hot showers and the dripping water was cold.... we didn’t know where the water was stemming from, so we immediately called to the Front Desk. 6) We informed the Front Desk and they asked if we wanted someone to come and check, but we stated no, that the dripping has stopped, which we assumed it was because the guests above stopped showering and that if we could have it checked in the morning instead... 7) Our day started a little later the next day, we left the hotel around 1:00PM instead of leaving earlier as planned, but we requested for our room to be serviced by calling down to the Front Desk. It was stated to us that they were still able to service the room so we thought there was going to be a follow up with the leaking from the night before and that our room was going to be cleaned... we came back to the hotel Saturday evening and our room was NEVER cleaned/serviced, before we hopped in the shower, we noticed AGAIN, that water was dripping from the ceiling so we immediately knew that Maintenance never entered our room at all.... 8) When I came down to the Front to ask for fresh towels, there was a little boy that was locked in a storage room that was banging on the door for help. 9) The next Morning, on Sunday, we were packing our bags and were checking out.... we asked for the GM’s business card, but was instead provided a card to join Best Western Rewards... 10) Recently called to speak to GM to discuss discrepancies before going online, and got hung up on twice, and have YET to hear from the GM. less
