Experience ruined by rude reception and buzzing noise in room

This hotel is lovely. Room was perfect and the spa facilities were clean. Bath in room was incredible apart from the mass of hair I had to pull out of the drain because water wouldn't go down and also an empty bottle of cava was left in the fridge.Breakfast was ok. Gardens were exceptional.
Not so good: There was a buzzing noise all night, which others complained about but didn't go away. The lady at front reception (with glasses) who worked daytime was very rude. First our card hadn't charged for our stay and instead of informing us what had happened just started pushing us to pay. Didn't give us any of the information needed for the spa so webt down totally unprepared. Another thing this hotel does is a bee keeping experience (at a cost for a package of £300) It is not really advertised anywhere so I asked if we could do the experience separately and got a flat no. She didn't even try to accommodate. On other occasion I asked if I could buy some honey (big sign saying buy at reception) and I got a 'No, it's not been delivered yet.' she was the least helpful person I have met at a hotel and is one of the main reasons my review isn't 5 star. Of course if something isn't possible I understand but politely explain why.
This hotel is lovely and I would consider coming back as the building and rest of the staff made this feel very homely but I do think is you're going to have Bee experiences here and not advertise them as a separate thing you can book, this could be sent out information with booking as reception couldn't provide any proper information and those who are environmental would love love the opportunity to do this experience or at least eat some of the honey 🍯 less

Thank you for your lovely comments on general hotel grounds, facilities and spa. We have also received your comments by direct email which has been replied to, thank you. Our lovely bees are not working as hard as they should be due to the excessive heat recently, hence the lask of honey, however, hopefully this will be back to normal soon.
