Nice Staff but Hotel is 'Minus'

We stayed 2-nights. 1st night was horrible as we found the bed sheet had few brown circles in one bed and ripped the 2nd. After removing the the bed sheet found more spot on mattress cover, below the cover found BIG yellow circle on mattress itself. Kind of urination!! Called the front desk staff, was told that service staff has left for the day and all he can do is to send the replacement bed-sheets then we will have to replace them. Asked for the change of room but I was told that hotel is booked.
Man refused to help, but one of the front desk lady was nice and helped us to replace the dirty bed sheets and mattress cover. Made us sleep on the dirty mattress with clean bed sheet to cover it. Next morning, Went to front desk (new staff) and explained dirty mattress. Lady understood and immediately upgraded the room without charge (NICE). Just wondering how did they have room ready by 8am when checkout was just starting and room service was not even started? This room must have been empty last-night but night staff did not bother to offer. Although, it was upgraded room it was not without issues. Bed was making noise when you turn and toss in the bed. Foot step noise from upper floor can be distracting.
ICE machine was out of order.
Ice bucket in room was dented.
Wi-Fi never got connected to the wi-fi hub in the hotel. Meaning old technology/equipment.
TVs donot have digital/HD channels. Only Analog channels, Yik!!
Basically, Best Western 'Minus' is more appropriate word. less

Dear Excursions639759, I do apologize for your inconveniences. I am sorry the hotel did not meet your expectations. The open room you were given in the morning was from a "no show" reservation from the prior night. The hotel never knows who had made a reservation and decides to no-show. The Page area has slow Internet service due to capacity issues from our remote location. It is not due to hotel equipment issues. There are 3 ice machines at the hotel. One on each floor. I hope you were able to find ice from the other 2 working machines.
Sometimes, guests would use ice chest and empty out particular ice machine,which will take longer to remake the ice. Thank you for your comments. We wish you well.
