As a former 22 year resident of Ketchum and now a frequent visitor, I want to give you some local insight into 'The Tyrolean'.
It was built in 1966 in the sweetest spot in the valley (next to Baldy in the heart of Ketchum), by young Austrian immigrant Joe Koenig.
Joe designed and operated it in the style of a European inn with quality service and hospitality. Today these elements are still present, including
- a friendly staff who provide personal assistance, local tips, and guidance
- a large comfortable sitting room with great fireplace and view of Baldy
- an excellent buffet breakfast with hot eggs and meats, biscuits, waffles, fruit, sauces, yogurt, cereals, breads, and more
I normally don't share information about the special places I know, so that's all I'm gonna say :) less
