We booked our room through the Hotwire app. I chose a room with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival, we were put in a room with one king size bed, which was less than ideal for my family of 5. We were told that it was the only room left in the hotel. The price and room type on my receipt did not match what I originally chose on Hotwire, so I can only assume Hotwire booked the room I requested, and then changed it due to the hotel’s availability.
The room was not cleaned. It still had the previous linens on the bed. The girl working the front desk was very apologetic and changed the sheets, but nothing else in the room was cleaned.
I’ve never had an issue like this when using a booking app before so I’m really not sure if the mistake lies with Hotwire or Best Western. Either way, it was a sleepless and cramped night for our family. less

Hello. I want to apologize for the room type issues you encountered with your reservation. That is something that does not normally happen at Best Western Troy Inn. It could have happened because we were close to being sold out but I cannot be certain. I can certainly understand how frustrating it must have been for you and your family trying to sleep in a single bed room.
