Not worth the price we paid - bad room and most of the staff were unfriendly

Our stay started out great with the staff allowing us to check in two hours early. We left the hotel that afternoon and returned around 8:30pm. The manager and clerk at the desk did not acknowledge us when we walked in the lobby and while we waited for our elevator even though I intentionally tried to make eye contact several times so I could say hello.
We planned to eat dinner at Molly Cooper's, the hotel restaurant, but were not in a hurry because the front desk clerk had said they served food until 10pm. We got to Molly's at 8:50pm and were greeted with an unpleasant look from the bartender who asked before we even sat down "what do you want to drink" and was clearly annoyed that we were there since we were the only ones at the bar. We ordered our drink and asked about ordering food but she said the kitchen closed at 9pm. Two women came to the bar and asked how long the bar was open. The bartender replied "well, I have to stay open until 10", but once again looked annoyed and clearly did not want customers. Needless to say, we slipped out after one drink while the bartender was outside smoking.
Our room was way too hot and we couldn't control the heat so had to plug in the air conditioner in the middle of the night while it was 20 degrees outside. We found the previous customers leftover food in the refrigerator and the microwave was filthy. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. To top it off, the wi-fi did not work in our room.
We definitely would not stay there again. Had the customer service been better, it might have been worth the $165 we paid, but I would rather stay in a lower star hotel for less money where they treat you well and the rooms are better. less
