The building dates from the 1970’s and the concrete style of architecture so popular then and so is now beginning to look its age. However, the suite we had was large, comfortable and well equipped.
We arrived after a long journey and a quick look round the area only revealed more hotels of similar vintage so we decided to give the restaurant a try. Getting to it involved a walk along a dark, curved corridor to reveal something of a barn. Our fellow guests seemed to divide into two groups; leisure travel couples like ourselves and solos, we assume traveling for work and it was these that the daily menu was aimed at. We gave it a try and it was the best €19.95 worth we have had for a long time, so much so we had it again the following night as what was on offer had completely changed.
In hot weather, the underground car park kept the sun off the car during the day and unlike so many of its kind in France, there was enough space without doing a 97 point turn. less
