Stayed for one night with two daughters and two of their friends. Sole purpose of stay was for somewhere to go whilst one daughter and friends were at Thorpe Park. The frontage of the hotel looked very promising. Car park was very good. Reception area very welcoming and clean. I had booked one Executive Club Double Room, One Standard Double Room and One Twin Room. The two former rooms were located in the original building whilst the twin room was located in a 1970's-looking extension. All rooms were very dated, although adequate for a one night stay. Bathrooms were basic with in-bath showers and horrible shower curtains. Lounge area was comfy and welcoming. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had room service food which was OK, but not great. Only difference between Executive Club Double and Standard Double is that it was bigger. All other facilities were exactly the same. Bottled water was a nice touch and was available in both rooms, although I did not check if it was available in the twin. less
