We returned to the Royal after a 2 year break in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis and this has hit the hospitality industry very hard in Jersey with the Royal not being that busy.
However, the room as usual was spacious, well furnished, clean and comfortable with a huge bathroom!
The breakfast is normally a buffet but this time it was table service, as good as buffet service, and the quality of the food was very good. The mini-croissants and small danish in particular were very fresh. One small point, we still receive tea-pots with coffee in on some mornings; there is a difference between tea and coffee pots. Please see the photos of the food, truly delicious 😋.
The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. This is an excellent place to stay as the hotel is a short walk to the town centre and it has limited car parking, but really only for small cars.
Thank you for another excellent stay at the Royal, much appreciated. less
