Stayed at the B W Royal for one week, could not fault anything. All the staff were fantastic always pleasant helpful and efficient. Seasons restaurant was light, airy and spotlessly clean, food delicious, will return. less
I stayed in the hotel with my children for over a week. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Always ready to go an extra mile to make us happy. Amazing choice of breakfast and very friendly staff. Free wi fi and a swimming pool less then 5 minute walk were a huge bonus when weather was not good. Oh and a very tasty coffee in the room. less
My wife and I on our first visit to Jersey in late March found The Royal a very pleasant base from which to explore the island. The staff made us very welcome from the outset. The room was clean and well furnished although the proximity of the single bed next to the radiators thermostatic valve kept the radiator on the cool side. Pulling the bed out sorted it. Also the noise of the St Helier traffic light Grand prix required better double glazing. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet had the nicest selection of freshly cooked food I've seen in a long while. The Seasons restaurant attached to the hotel was also blessed with attentive and friendly staff, good beers and food. Our stay was most agreeable and on leaving we were allowed to leave our car in the car park until we needed it. We rate this Best Western really highly. less
What a lovely hotel. We arrived early Friday, having been able to upgrade our room to a suite before we left home. We left our bags with reception.
We checked in later and were very pleased with our suite. We ate in the hotel bar - the food was excellent.
Saturday morning the hotel had an issue with their boiler and so there was no hot water for a shower!! - very disappointing however the receptionist and porter were very apologetic and tried to rectify the problem. But these things happen! We boiled the kettle for a wash and went to breakfast which was very good.
We went out for the day and on our return we had been left a bottle of wine and a letter from the hotel. A lovely touch. Again we ate in the bar and were very happy with our meals.
On Sunday morning the hairdryer went up in smoke and cinged my hair!!!!
This really is sounding like 'Fawlty Towers' It isn't it is a lovely hotel, very clean and tidy. The staff were lovely and always helpful and courteous. We wouldn't hesitate in coming back. less
We recently had our wedding ceremony/lunch and evening reception here - hotel staff could not have been more helpful - the food/service and table decorations were top standard - We had family/friends over from the UK and 12 rooms booked in total which everyone agreed were all tastefully decorated and clean - bonus for the ones with a balcony or access to the terrace - the hotel staff made our day so special and one that will never be forgotten. Thank you to all the staff at the Royal especially Carolyn who dealt with all of our bookings and the General Manager Mariusz from Gail and Leon less
