We had a family do in a function room. It was away from th hotel which was good as we had a lot of children. Had a buffet meal but there was plenty. Stayed in a family room, 1 double 2 singles. 1 TV. Room looked ok uncomfortable pillows. (and an odd selection, 1 rectangle, 1 square, 1 bolster.) The guide said you could turn down the heating but we couldn't find a dial so we were too hot. (was that or no heating and be cold.) Nether husband or I slept well. We had a discount if we paid full prce it would have been £170, which I think would have been a bit much considering the bad nights sleep. Dinner they knew the numbers and what we were having in advance but table was laid for quite a few more people. The service was not great. Food ok. But try to find out pricing of rooms, was a night mare apparently the price varries from day to day and depending on room so no clear pricing structure visible. Also found the drinks tray in a random copboard after some hunting. less

Thank you for taking time to share your valuable opinion on TripAdvisor.
It is disappointing to learn that your experience with us was not satisfactory for your standards and I would like to apologise for that and I am going to clarify some of your concerns.
In order to turn down the heating in your room it is sufficient to move the cursor on the top of the heater itself , regarding the pillows we do have a pillow's menu available in order to change them to your liking.
Our staff is available 24 hours to make sure our guests enjoy their experience with us , they only need to be contacted and made aware of any problem or wish in order to act on it.
The hotel tariffs vary based on different factors ,eg. availability, room type etc etc, like most hotels or airlines around the world.
The drinks tray is in the main desk cupboard which seems the easiest place due to the furniture present in our rooms.
I hope I was able to clarify some of your points, please do not hesitate to contact me directly should you need any further help or clarification.
