We (wife, me and 2 tween boys) stayed Saturday night over President's Day Weekend 2020 because we were in town for skiing. Our room was a suite, with a separate bedroom and a fold-out couch in the living area. Note--this is an "extended stay" hotel. I'm going to do this review in a "Pros vs. Cons" format.
Full kitchen with mostly all the cookware and utensils you'll need. Fairly spacious suite. Very good breakfast included--eggs, taters, sausage, biscuits and gravy and typical continental breakfast fare. Very large and spacious dining area....plenty of room to have a relaxing breakfast. King bed was very comfortable. Decent indoor pool and hot tub. Free WiFi. Short drive to Granite Peak, and close to restaurants and shopping mall.
First room we checked into wasn't totally clean (remember, it's an extended stay hotel)--hotel staff moved us to a different, but identical room, no problem. Hotel located in an industrial area....not ideal. Huge power plant only a few blocks away. View from room rather ugly. In the same vein, while the hotel looked like it was recently remodeled, it has a an institutional feel to it. Skimpy on the complimentary shampoo, soap etc. A few things out of order in the lobby.
So, all in all, it was a good stay. It served our purpose as a place to crash for a night. But since it's an extended stay hotel, i can see housecleaning being an issue. But, the front desk staff was friendly and accommodated us. less
