Workers Be advised!!! First off let me say that the beds are very comfortable! Had zero problems with the room or amenities. I'm sure if you stay for one night it's probably fine, just don't depend on a clean room if you stay longer. Stayed here while working in the area, we had a five or six night stay the first time, came back days later for another three nights. I went with my boss and we had a lot of issues with the cleaning staff. First time back to the room, it was never cleaned or stocked. Got back from a long day to no toiletries, no towels, no clean bedding, no soap! nothing..
Fine, called the front desk for all these things, of course the cleaning staff was long gone. The poor lady at the desk was not happy about bringing our BASICS but we had nothing in our room!
Every single time we came back to the room after work it was always something not attended too! My boss and I would always comment on it daily because it was that ridiculous. Either no towels, no toilet paper, trash not taken out, or wouldn't vacuum, day after day.
My boss actually had to leave a note one day to please vacuum. (We work outside and had mud on our boots, but we would take them off before we entered the room. In the morning we'd put them on when leaving, occasionally tracking DRY grey mud particles around, nothing obnoxiously dirty or out of the norm for outdoor working, easily vacuumable... In fact, had I had a vacuum, I'd have done it myself as I'm OCD about dirty floors!!) It still didn't happen! 🤦♂️🤦♂️
We went back the following week, not my decision!! Same issues! No towels, at this point they literally would not vacuum our room at all and we gave up expecting it. Pillows left on the floor, no clean sheets, garbage not taken out, etc.. Even when they did replace the towels they gave less each time! Umm, ok... Fine, whatever. We're working 12-14 hour days, we just want toilet paper and soap at this point. We did end up mentioning this ordeal to the front desk as polite as possible but nothing was ever done. A week later they actually charged my boss $120 for a cleaning fee out of nowhere. Utterly laughable considering they never cleaned our room properly the entire time, letting things pile up day after day, we had to put out the garbage ourselves eventually because they would leave it. He called them about this and they blamed it on soiled sheets!!?!
Yes. Apparently claiming they had to throw away a comforter and sheets!!! (Wtf!?) Which makes absolutely no sense! The manager actually said someone's bed sheets were soiled.. (apparently blaming this on me.) Absolutely. Not. True.
My sheets never even came untucked from the bed my entire stay. I am absolutely a clean person and was completely offended this could even be an actual issue!! Literally was shocked when my boss called me about this, I was convinced he was joking with me because it took me completely by surprise!! I actually have pictures of the room in question so these people are absolutely NUTS! Of course they could not produce any prof of the soiled sheets....
From my observation on this, they have a completely WORTHLESS CLEANING STAFF ON DUTY who were upset over dried muddy boots, dried mud on the floor and refused to DO THEIR JOB, as in vacuum it up!! Instead, staff decided it would be better to blame a guests for soiling sheets so they could exact some sort of revenge because we had notified the desk of your LACK OF ATTENTION.
If you don't like your job, please leave it. And if you won’t clean, please do those of us who like a clean room a favor and quit! Absolutely the worst cleaning staff I've ever experienced in a hotel EVER! And a manager(Nancy) who blatantly LIED about soiled sheets!!!!! Appalling!!! SHAME ON YOU!!
A real worker! less
