Great Staff: Hotel Not Up to Best Western Standards

Upon arrival at the hotel we walked into our room (#345?) and the bed was visibly sagging in the middle, the runner (cover thing on the end of the bed) was dirty, and I called the front desk to get a new room. They upgraded us to a room with a sofa in it and the bed was a bit better but not great. In this room (#307) the toilet was dirty, the shower didn't work well and had very low water pressure (drizzle). We were tired and in town for a funeral so we just stayed and didn't say anything else.
Now, onto breakfast. We ate breakfast at 9:00 AM (they serve breakfast till 10:00 AM) Everything looked pretty picked over and had clearly sat for a while. I chose a bagel which was hard before I toasted it and even harder afterward. I tossed it out and then made a waffle. My hubby on the other hand, tried their biscuits and gravy. He now refers to them as "ricochet biscuits" because "you took a bite and your teeth ricocheted out of your mouth" and the gravy was "luke warm" and didn't look very good from where I sat. We went out to the front desk and told the lady who gave us $20 and we went down the road to Shari's (great food) and ate there.
Second night, we found ourselves locked out of our room so we made the trek back downstairs to the front desk, the man fixed the key and then followed us to our room to make sure it worked. He then tried to fix the shower (bless his heart) but after it wouldn't heat up above luke-warm.
The bed was blah... We usually have great service at Best Western's (which we did) The staff was very nice and tried to help us out. They told us upon leaving that they are remodeling next month and will have all new beds. We will take that into consideration if we find ourselves in Twin Falls again. less

I am so sorry that you had so many issues when you stayed with us We strive hard to make every guests stay as perfect as possible. I love your husbands analogy about the biscuits I will be looking into this issue so if you he comes back he will have nice warm soft biscuits. I hope you will return to see all of our upgrades we are doing to our hotel.
