Love staying here and it is part of the joyful anticipation of visiting Durango. So well located, it is walking distance from train and Main Street shops and restaurants. Even tho I was here a few months ago, there have been more improvements. The room had new blinds as well as new art on the wall. The pictures were old, historical sights from Durango, very simple and charming. Room and property kept clean. The best thing is what is behind all the comfort....and that is the people behind the scenes...all the staff are polite and helpful. This is all managed by Erica who, like her staff, expresses enthusiasm and willingness to help. The thing I liked the least was the hot tub had a big issure the second night, but was very enjoyable the first. Response was timely to get it going again. My friends and I were well treated to a great breakfast as well as letting us gather en masse for our socializing apres ski in the evenings. I found the bed very comfortable and I am a picky bed/sleep person. I slept well...helped by "white noise" of the climate control fan. Looking forward to my next visit. Personal thanks to Erica, Sean, Gina, Zack and Rosie. less
