I would stay here again, even for $104 a night plus tax (corporate rate). It was noisy on first floor, and not a lot of hot water but the hotel itself was easy to get to, which was a plus! The people were pretty friendly, and it was clean, so that was great!
I did have to ask how to turn on the a/c, as it had an old unit under the window, but the control was on the wall.
Loved the hot tub and pool, which we got to enjoy earlier in the day with no one around, although when we went back that night there were a couple families that had every table and chair taken, so we didn't go back in.
Breakfast was okay but people were rude as always....the food will be there people! My gosh, there's plenty for everyone! Biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, waffles and pancakes and toppings, cereal, 3 kinds of juice and water, pastries, bagels, toast.
There was good tv reception, and lots of room in just the king room, pillow top bed okay, but I'm not a huge fan of pillow top beds, so that's probably just me.
All in all, it was probably a solid 3.5 stars, but upping to 4 stars isn't too much of a stretch. Clean, friendly people, and pretty comfortable...everything we wanted for a quick trip to San Antonio! less
