My overall experience was good. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. My room was roomy and clean. However, the air/heater combo was loud. I was tired from a long day and felt I would just deal with it. I ended up turning it off at 3 am and put on the extra blanket. I informed the front desk when leaving that morning and they immediately called maintenance. I was also told that some of the units were being replaced.
Also, I think the evening staff could use a little more training, help, or less coffee! Edy, the person who checked me was not helpful. At first, he could not find my reservation. Then asked me to wait while he asked the phone. Once he found my reservation, he took my credit card, had me sign an agreement form and handed me my room key. After standing there a moment, I asked if I was done. Yes! I then had to ask; where my room was, where and when was the included breakfast, where was the restaurant on-site and hours. Another staff member helped answer a couple more of my questions after he finished with another customer. I truly hope Edy was just having an off day. I will say all the other staff; shuttle drivers and restaurant where on point. less

Thank you for your review. We are glad that overall your experience was good but obviously wish that we could have done better. We are in the process of replacing all of the old heater/air units in guestrooms and it is unfortunate that you received a room that had one of the older units as we still have about 50% of our rooms to complete. The experience received at check-in is definitely not up to our service levels and we have brought in a new Assistant General Manager that will be providing training and working with the guest service representatives to provide a more courteous, efficient and informative experience not only at check-in but in all guest interaction. In 2017 we will be doing a lot of updating, we hope that the next time you are in need of accommodations in the Milwaukee area you will stop in and see all of our changes.
