Old and new at the same time...

12/08/2018 sanji, Japan

The main building, dating back to the 1800s, is extremely beautiful, but it is showing its age and is rather dark... The addition of a large veranda as dining and breakfast room was a very clever idea... more

Dear Sanji Thank you for your kind review. The Main building is of course not 'modern' and the original pine doors and panelling etc are not modern either but that gives the building its traditional 'feel'. As with most Hotels we cannot give all rooms a 'view'. of say gardens although most have. Kind regards Graeme

Dear Guest Thank you for your very kind review. We are delighted you were so happy here. Regarding the '£50 service fee' this is just to advise that there may be a charge if our property is stained by food from outside. Unfortunately we have had spillage of ' takeaway sauces' in the past resulting in damage which cannot be cleaned. We have facilities for our guests to dine and thankfully we seldom have 'problems' . Kind regards Graeme
