Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are happy to hear the Staff were pleasant and efficient. First of all, I would like to explain that even though there are many hotels in Sussex Gardens, they are not identical. All of the properties are very different from each other in size, décor and standards. What we have in common is the good location, with Hyde Park and Paddington station within a 5-minutes' walk, with a direct train to Heathrow airport in just 15 minutes. Furthermore, Paddington is a quiet, safe and clean area; very well connected by train, buses and underground. Concerning the issue you mentioned in your review, please note that I will speak to the housekeeping team to investigate this matter. If rubbish was left in your room after cleaning, I would like to apologise for it. We will make sure this does not happen again. I am sorry to hear the bathroom was too small for your needs. All our bathrooms have a shelf and a towel hook, as the Best Western guidelines mandate. Nevertheless, we will take your feedback into consideration for future improvements. Regarding the A/C, please note that every bedroom in the hotel has as control panel next to the bedside tables, allowing customers to control the room temperature by themselves. If you could provide some more details about this, I'd be happy to pass them onto our maintenance department. Concerning the brand, please note that every Best Western hotel is independently run and own, meaning each property has its own "personality". The Delmere Hotel has been part of the BW chain for more than 25 years and we are very proud to say we have successfully passed all our annual inspections, including the one we had 2 weeks ago, for which we got the maximum possible score of 1,000 points. This is just the proof that our hotel is up to the standards and its staff strives to improve our service every day.
