Rude staff - all too much trouble

I arrived quite late, tired and exhausted ... you arrive via the car park entrance at the back Of building .I wheeled my luggage to reception which is through the courtyard area thinking to myself ... I hope I’m not in the Annexe part that I’ve just wheeled all the luggage through.
I arrived at reception to be greeted by a grumpy lady - I asked for some help to take my luggage back to the room in the annex! She reluctantly got somebody!!
The chap helping said I had to keep up with him and that he will probably loose me as he was busy and had to get back !! He did take my suitcase up one flight of stairs (no lift) I explained I had arthritis I would find it hard to keep up with him as he sprinted to the bedroom! If you can avoid it don’t take a bedroom in the Annex..
I was on the first floor above the swimming pool and it was very very hot the window only opens approximately 2 inches and there is not enough air in the room I was in a twin bedded room ... the bed was uncomfortable and I had a poor nights sleep. Guessing that the rooms might be better in the main house. The next morning I asked for somebody to come and help me downstairs with my luggage and I wanted to go to breakfast I was given no guarantee of the time that they could collect my luggage as they were .. as they put it very busy. A Nice man did arrive to take my luggage approximately 15 to 20 minutes after I made the request - which made me late for breakfast however I asked him to leave the case at the bottom of the stairs next to the car park. He didn’t listen to me as the case was ... yes you’ve guessed wheeled past the point I asked him to drop it - across the courtyard, down some steps and back to the main building -
so I had to go and collect it put it in the car I then cancelled breakfast Which I waited for for a certain length of time but had to go as it was taking too long and I was late for my meeting.
I think the whole place could do with some training in hospitality because I really felt it was lacking ... in the morning at breakfast I watched two other people cancel breakfast as it was taking so long .
Avoid thus place if u are seeking help and a sunny smile! less
