The man who checked us in was very helpful and friendly...he even walked outside with us to show us where we could park our car.
The breakfast was okay... I couldn’t get the latte macchiato button to work on either machine, which was frustrating. I was told I didn’t get breakfast for my reservation (which was wrong because of my loyalty status) but no one was checking for names/room numbers regardless-so anyone could’ve gotten it for free.
We were told that masks were recommended, not required. When we went for breakfast the next morning we were not allowed to enter without our masks. I assumed we didn’t need them because we would have them off to eat, but it made sense that we needed them for the buffet... it just would’ve been nice to know so we didn’t have to go back to our room.
The thing that made the most impact, though, was the air conditioning. We were given one key, which was needed for the a/c in the room to work. Even with the key plugged in and the a/c on blast, the room was very hot. Thank god we brought our own floor fan! The windows did open fully, which was great!
The location also was just okay. The restaurant across the street was great (Akropolis) but it would’ve been better had we chosen to stay closer to the old town. less
