First let me say that the manager was very helpful. We stayed in room 101. The main problem we experienced was that the room had a very musty smell. There was flooding in Parsons in May at the nearby Neosho River, so perhaps that was the reason. We also noticed several dehumidifiers operating in the main hallway. I probably should have asked for a different room, on the second floor, but I suspect the problem existed throughout the hotel. There was also a leaking flapper in the toilet tank causing the tank to refill repeatedly throughout the night. Finally, there was a dead spider right next to the tub/shower, which had apparently been there awhile. On the plus side, the breakfast was excellent, the location was convenient, and the hotel was quiet. Again, the gentleman on the front desk, who I assume was the manager, was very helpful and courteous. less
