This Best Western room was very comfortable, and the mattress was one of the best I have slept on in any hotel recently. The check in and out procedures were speedy, and the clerks were friendly, helpful, and professional. It was a very quiet room - I never heard any noise from the outside or from other rooms (no showers running, no toilets flushing, like I hear in other hotels). All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
That being said, there are some less-than-perfect conditions. 1. There is no signage at the entrance to show where the driveway is, just a high pole with the BW logo. There are 2 driveways, so be sure and take the one closest to the signpole. Otherwise you will end up in the restaurant parking lot, and there is no access to the hotel lot, so you have to go back onto the highway. 2. The breakfast offering is actually a voucher to a restaurant across the parking lot. I had to get fully dressed to go, then because the restaurant was open to the public, I had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The food was acceptable (you get a choice of 4 menus, no substitutions. The service less than stellar. 3. Water pressure in the shower leaves a lot to be desired. The showerhead is an adjustable one, but none of the settings provided a lot of pressure and it was difficult to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. Also, the head is at least 6' high so short people may not be able to reach it. The handle to turn on the water and select hot/cold is confusing - you turn it about a quarter turn and the water shuts off. You have to keep turning it, then test the temperature. less
