With the exception of Christine and Deborah (Both very nice and worked on the weekend. Only reason I'll give a 2 instead of a 1 star), me and my coworkers were not treated well here. One of my coworkers was greeted with: "oh another of you people", which I believe meant field workers. Also had someone get their room key thrown at them because the front desk lady was tired of fixing the key more than once. My personal experience was that a lady who brings her teenager to work just hated me for some reason. It was 6:00 am when breakfast should have been out (before the coronavirus shut down breakfast) and the lights were off. I poked my head in and I received a "can I help you?" In a rude tone. I asked if there was any coffee available? To which she said no rudely and shut the door in my face, to which I sighed. Post-breakfast closure, I ask same lady if I can get any sugar packets. She said I can't go in there. I ask if she could get me some sugar then. To which she said you can't have anything in there. The rooms were average and well cleaned in my case. Had a few coworkers who had mice and roaches. Have a picture of the mouse actually. Would recommend some extermination. The amenities were not great (pool green, printer out of ink due to corona virus [buy on amazon?], internet was so bad in my room that it would disconnect me all the time, and no breakfast due to coronavirus [free laundry instead would be nice]. But the main issue i had was the mean spirited lady who needs an attitude adjustment or a new job not dealing in customer service. If you are in the area for contract work, I would recommend De ridder, la or Alexandria, la (candlewood suites). less
