The hotel is very easy to find and the location is great and very close to George Fox. Upon arrival, the hotel looks nice, the small lobby is updated and cozy, the front desk attendant was very friendly. We enjoyed tea, coffee and fruit.
As soon as we opened the room door, the chemical smell in the room was overwhelming! If you are sensitive these types of scents, do not stay here! The furnishings are very outdated and the carpet looks very worn. We could very clearly hear the conversations in the rooms on either side of us, as well as every sound from outside. Thankfully, the air conditioner has an option to run continuously, so that helped with the noise.
I am not sure why there aren’t more reviews about the very uncomfortable bed. Maybe it was just our room? After a very long day of traveling and college tours with our son, I was very much looking forward to laying down, but I was met with the hardest bed I have ever laid in. Not just firm, but very hard! It felt like laying on a table! The pillows are pretty flat, so if you like a soft bed and fluffy pillows, again, look elsewhere.
The shower curtain was tinged yellow and the bath towels were very small and old. I did enjoy the toiletries and the shower head and pressure where nice.
Breakfast was nice and full of variety. Mainly a lot of processed foods, but that’s typical of a hotel at this price point. I appreciated the fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs and they had almond milk as a option for those who need it.
Unfortunately, the smell, thin walls and the bed will keep us away from coming back.

Thank you very much for taking time to write an eloborare review. Most of your comments are your opinion and do not tally with the review of others. Beds, are comfort relative . For some they are comfortable while some say they they are not as comfortable as their own at home. Smell: for a lion decayed meat is so pleasant while it smells bad for humans. Sorry for the same. Regarding the thin walls we are sorry , most of the motels are built by the same construction people’s. Extremely sorry for your experience and once again sorry for the Lysol smell in the bathroom. As it is a place we have take certain precautions relating the hygiene Hence the sprays are inevitable and adviced by the industry’s standards. Once again on behalf our hotel and industry sorry. On your next visit if need be we can avoid spraying Lysolin your room on advance request. Once again sorry and thanks for appreciating our hot breakfast .
