We checked in on March 9th. A gentleman, whom I assumed was the manager, said he would check to see if the room was ready & came back & said it was. Girl ran through my credit card for more than the room was, however, that is standard practise.
We parked near the back as I asked for a room near the door for my husband who has trouble walking. We are both Seniors. On the side of the hotel the water in the parking lot is almost up to the bottom of the door if you have to drive in the centre. I walked to the front & got a luggage rack, and we loaded the rack, going through 2 heavy doors to our room.
We unpacked our necessary items, I sanitized the whole room, and we sat down to watch TV. TV has no signal. Called the front desk, & she said that she would come and fix it. No fix, so said the guy would be out in the morning. We said we wanted TV so she said we could move to another room. We had to repack, and move to the other room, carrying all our things. Mostly I did as it is hard to carry suitcases, cooler and balance a cane.
I cleaned the room again & decided to make popcorn. Microwave does not work very well. took 10 minutes to make popcorn. Supper which I had brought was 20 minutes. When I went to the front to tell the girl and she said I could use the Microwave in the front. When closed the bathroom door, it was filthy behind it. Next morning we got up and the little coffee maker would not work at all in the room.
Next morning my husband walked to the front, & told the girl what had happened the night before & she said the manager was not in, but gave him Maneesh's email. My husband could not stand any longer, & so did not check out or get our corrected bill.
After contacting Maneesh twice the next day we are still waiting to hear from him. I sent my review from BW as to how was our stay.
They contacted me with an email saying they were sorry the microwave and coffee pot did not work & the bathroom was dirty behind the door. No mention of TV or the inconvenient move. And I should call them & talk about it. Talk about what?? How they have cleaned the room, replaced the Microwave & coffee maker, adjusted our bill? less
