Just returned today after staying 3 nights at this hotel, I stayed with a family member and although we both had standard rooms we each had different room amenities and decor. This in no way impacted our stay it just seems odd that different rooms have different things. The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained and very clean. It was nice to hear the cleaning staff laugh and see them smile shows they really care about their jobs and the hotel standards. In fact all staff were friendly and approachable and I found reception staff very efficient, the bar and waiting staff again were very efficient and always smiling and happy to help. The breakfast is superb and a great way to start the day, you have a full choice of cooked items as well as continental items. The hotel has 3 other bars/eateries all connected to the main hotel area they are called The Hideaway, The library bar and the Rendezvous bar. The rendezvous bar was very snug and a nice quiet place for pre dinner drinks, while the library bar was more like a traditional pub which was very well run, although there is a strong smell of cooking which overflows into the bar area. It was not really a problem but just noticeable as you walk in. The hideaway is what it's sounds like a nice little restaurant hid away serving very nice food at very reasonable prices. I would rate the 3 areas I have mentioned as very good. Location is perfect, you are literally right in the heart of the town and two minutes walk from the harbour. All you need to do is turn left out of the hotel, go past the Thomas la rue pub and then your see the harbour. Bus services are excellent and you are no more than 10 minutes walk to town terminus where you can catch buses all over the island, day tickets are £4.50 per person and offer unlimited travel. It's also worth getting the bus from the airport as there are several buses which go to and from town for a £1 per person, we used the 95. To conclude this a very well run hotel, all staff were pleasant and helpful, and rooms and public areas are very well kept/clean and tidy. This hotel offers value for money and perfect location I highly recommend this hotel and challenge anyone to be disappointed. Thank you Best Western Moores for a lovely stay. less

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your highly complimentary and comprehensive review of the hotel and your experience of it following your recent stay with us, I don’t think I could have done a better job myself!
Your kind comments are much appreciated, especially those concerning the staff and the various eateries you used and I will be sure to share them with the whole Team. Similarly, I am so glad that you found everything to be good value and the very central location of the hotel to be so convenient for you. It was a pleasure to have you both as our guests and I hope we shall have the privilege of welcoming you back to Moores again the not too distant future.
In the meantime, I would thank you for your valued custom to date and assure you of my best attention at all times.
