You'd walk past without noticing it's a hotel. A town house from the outside but once inside, a charming house of character lovingly, painstakingly renovated at considerable expense and with loads of perfectionism. Family owned and run, founded by the late father of the present owner and ambitiously embellished with admirable consistency, year after year. No resting on their laurels, no cutting corners, no creaming off of profits to line private pockets....pure and genuine hotelier idealism shows in every detail. The dining room is now fully fetched into a conservatory that has been beautifully integrated with the old rooms. Light-flooded, inviting, appetising. The location makes hiring a car superfluous. All activities and sightseeing is at an arm's length. The food is delicious, the breakfast leaves no wish undone. The staff is so well trained and so naturally polite that it is almost embarrassing to ask for anything! You just can't go wrong at The Moores. less
