Conveniently situated, comfortable hotel, with very helpful staff.

I agree with other reviews which mentioned how clean the hotel was; we saw our cleaner regularly as we went down to breakfast in the conservatory. Not so much a meal, more an event! I do not remember being offered cranberry juice for breakfast before and might try having it at home. The food in the downstairs bar was disappointing and we did not repeat the experience. We stayed for 6 nights and I think we would try one of the two "sister" hotels in the future, if only to get out of the town and make use of a pool. The main advantage of staying in the centre of town was that we could choose a different restaurant each day. When we went on the day trip to Sark, we did not have a long journey to get to the port. less

Dear A C H,
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post a review following your recent stay with us and I am glad you found most things to your liking, in particular that the staff were very helpful, but I was sorry to learn that you didn’t enjoy your meal in the Library Bar.
Although we don’t have a pool ourselves, as you mention, our sister hotels do, and during the summer months the company’s shuttle-bus runs periodically between the three establishments. I hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Moores again in the future, but if not, I would still be pleased if you were to stay at either Les Rocquettes or the De Havelet.
In the meantime, I would thank you for your valued custom to date and assure you of my best attention at all times.
