A Lovely Stay.
We do not live far from Weymouth. Just a one hour casual drive from our home in Poole.
We have enjoyed several good stays at the Rembrandt and this was no exception.
As always we arrived a little early but that was not a problem as our room was ready.
We had asked for a particular room on the ground floor with a garden view. This was waiting for us and spotlessly clean.
The only problem was that I could not get the radiator to work. However, a quick word to the assistant manager soon had that fixed and we luxuriated in a lovely warm room for our entire stay. In fact the assistant manager was very helpful to us on a couple of occasions.
We dined in the hotel for dinners on our first and last nights and as always enjoyed our meals.
Due to the shortage of guests, (this was the week before Christmas), there was no breakfast hot buffet. However, there was a menu of all the usual breakfast items and service was carried out by the waiting staff. Which, to be honest I much prefer. Buffets are not really my thing.
Due to covid the room was cleaned and serviced every second day. But on the cleaning day we found it, once again, spotless.
Our thanks go to the great staff at the hotel. They are worth their weight in gold.
A great stay which, hopefully, we will repeat in February. less
