We expected and got a small room for our 3 day trip. The room was clean and functional. There is a currently a bit of resentment being shown towards British people in France. Our party of three had to set our own breakfast table for three persons each morning. The usual set up was tables of two and as we were down for breakfast each day we thought they might have set a table for three to accommodate our party, they didn't. Perhaps we expected too much... We also paid in advance through the Best Western Central Booking office and included breakfast in our payment. The hotel charged us again for breakfast and getting the benefit of the doubt was not going to be an option. The rude receptionist was not going to give us the benefit of the doubt and in the end I paid the extra and the Best Western Central Office refunded the money when we got home. I'm finished with France as we spent three days being concerned about pick pockets and thief's and rude locals with anti British attitudes. less

We thank you first of all for sharing us your feedback and your comments following your recent stay with us.
We would like to answer to these remarks in order to clarify many points. We are so disapointed by your remark regarding the welcome of the British guests.
Our hotel, like any other hotel, is a permanent place of reception and services around an international and multi ethnic guests.
Our teams welcome new people every day in English, Spanish, German, Arabic and other a multitude of guests, making the wealth of our profession.
It is therefore inconceivable to make any difference in treatment between our hosts.
Regarding our breakfast, it should be noted that the arrangement of the tables is done by two. We will not fail to make our breakfast service aware of the importance of paying particular attention to everyone's expectations.
However, without knowing the exact time of your breakfast (self service), it seems complex to us to made a special arrangement. Our reception is at your disposal 24:24 to organize this type of request.
We also noticed that an error occurred in your reservation regarding these same breakfasts, and that it appeared that these were not included in the reservation.
As your booking center has reimbursed this amount, it seems that the error was corrected by its author, and not by the hotel, who only wished to apply the conditions stipulated by the reservation made.
However, we are relieved that this situation has been successful.
We hope that you do not really intend "not to return to France" for the reasons mentioned above and remain at your disposal for a more thorough exchange around your stay.
