I’ve stayed at other Best Western hotels across US. Never would I expect what we found at Dover one - hotel is under construction, that would be ok - but there is no excuse for the filthy room conditions. Room pictures on the website are NOT from this hotel. The shower curtain was filthy & moldy, shower itself had a huge crack across it that was CB patches with some sort of glue. Bathroom does had dark brown smudges in the inside and outside. The window had so many hand prints I don’t think it was cleaned this year at all.
I went to front desk asking for manager to get in touch with us - not available until we check out. I was given a business card. Nobody came up to the room to see the conditions. Under Covid restrictions no breakfast - website stated that we can get grab bags. Don’t count on those to replace breakfast - we got sorted bottle, piece of fruit & granola bar. The “breakfast is included in the price of the room” should be removed from the hotel’s description.

E one of us moved in bed - it was that loud. One positive - gentlemen who checked us in was friendly & professional. He failed to inform us that there was no elevator so we went on a wild goose chase looking for o e and ended up logging out NAHS up yo se one floor. It’s ok - I can handle that. The filth - not acceptable. I am tempted to send my pictures to the DE health department. I know that Best Western can do better - time to send someone down to Do er to get things cleaned up! I am hoping someone from BW will contact me (as I requested at the front desk) so we can discuss this. This location truly is a disaster.
