I Stayed in Best Western Elyon Colombo for 7 days during my business visit to Colombo.

> Value proposition is high than what you spend. In other words, what you get interms of service + experience is more than the value for money you spend
My Experience in short
> Personally I loved the stay and was very relaxing
> No disturbances at all, despite being in middle of the city and busy roads
> Reception is very helpful. Hiruni, Concy & Rajitha from the reception is very quick. In my opinion they have mastered what is "hospitality" than traditional customer service dialogues. No matter whether its midnight or early in the morning, they are ready to serve you at their best, and you cannot ask for more!
> Breakfast was such a nice treat to start the day. A big thank you Chef and team.
> Restaurant staff Nirosh & Jathas are very active and serves the best. Always with a pleasant smile no matter how busy the restaurant is. I noted that they greet all the customers who steps into restaurant with a good smile.
> Vu Bar is a perfect environment to relax in the night with a drink. Light music at the right volume, spacious, nice breeze with the city view. Chinthana from Vu Bar has joined the hotel recently, what I gather from short little chat I had with him. He knows what to suggest, how to suggest /present the menu while not forcing things on customer. On a late night when I couldn't go out for dinner due to rain and restaurant was almost closed, he went on the extra mile to get me cup of coffee and some snacks. He couldn't have simply said NO but went on the extra mile to help me. Cheers for taking my self on you shoes Chinthana! and this what I think "Practicing Customer service".
>Ravindu & Hishan + entire house keeping team is very responsive. They found me a charger at early morning 1 am when landed in the hotel. Itwas quick !
> Last but not least, Wijayweera (Security officer) is helpfull and you can get addtional tips on do's and dont's if you are foreigner and planing to explore the city. Still nothing to worry ,you will be safe in Sri Lanka. less
