We made reservations for and arranged for payment for 2 guests for 2 nights, with specific instructions that the stay was for ONLY 2 nights. We requested and received a check out invoice, ending the transaction, which showed our card was charged for 2 nights as specified.
Then, the hotel allowed one of the guests to pay cash for a third night because we clearly specified 2 nights only.
One week later we get another bill for a week's stay because, according to the general manager Susan, the guest told the hotel that we said it was ok. This may or may not be true as the guest in question denies it, saying the hotel agreed to daily cash payments. The hotel never contacted us for permission for continued charges on our card. We never gave our consent to more than 2 nights at this hotel.
When we called to ask questions, Susan confirmed that the situation was their mistake, and apologized, promising to refund our money. She also confided that the guest in question was actually on their "do not rent to" list; which we did not know, and were never told when we gave the name of the guest at the time of the original booking.
Weeks later, the charges are still not removed from our card, and Susan, the general manager won't take our calls, and won't respond to any of our efforts at contacting her.
We will NEVER do business with another Best Western. DO NOT STAY HERE. less
