A good alternative to the pricey Disney resort hotels

Stayed here beginning of July 2019 for 2 nights in a room with 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor. Free parking but you need to register your licence plate. Rooms are accessible from outdoor walkways. Our room was clean and a good size. I felt like the hotel does its best for the customers. They provide a really great breakfast each morning with make your own waffles, ready made scrambled eggs, sausages, variety of yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, baked items, etc. They even have soy and nut milk alternatives. Coffee, tea and water provided 24 hours. There is a small outdoor pool but no one seems to use it as Disneyland is the goal when staying here. The staff are friendly.
It's about a 20 minute walk to Downtown Disney and another 5 to the entrance of Disneyland from this hotel as it's located on the back side of the park.
Our room was next to the elevator and the only complaint I would have is that the air conditioner was really loud but you needed it on as the room was stuffy. The bathroom is small with just a toilet and bathtub but it was kept clean. The sink is in the room with a vanity and there were complimentary bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion (no body wash). There is a clothing rack as opposed to a closet. Overall, this is a good place to stay. I've stayed at the Grand Californian for the proximity and to get the Magic Hour but the Best Western is perfectly fine too! less
