I had a bad feeling when I checked in and the elevator was out of order, the Xmas tree was still up (in late January) and the man at the front desk was a sourpuss. On to my room, which was dim and dingy, with worn-out linen. All that would have been tolerable. But the hotel is tucked right alongside the highway and has poor sound-proofing, so I was kept awake by loud vehicle noise all night long. Add to that the overpowering scent of bleach in the sheets and pillows, and sleep became impossible. The breakfast offerings were far more meager than is typical for a hotel in this price class. Next time, I'll do what I usually do when I have to come to Butner, and stay at one of the nice hotels near RDU and drive up in the morning. less

I apologize that your stay was not what you hoped for and that we did not succeed in exceeding your expectations. We are committed to our service promise to you and all of our guests, so if something is not to your liking, let us know immediately and we will do everything we can to make it right. Our Christmas tree is no longer up. We like to hold on to the holidays as much as possible, especially when we get snow (which rarely happens in this area) but I do appreciate your preference and we will certainly consider it for future holidays.
While our breakfast includes 3 hot item options and exceeds our brand requirements, we are always open to suggestions on how we can make our breakfast even. We are currently renovating the entire hotel, which includes adding brand new wood floors in the guest rooms, and renovating our entire lobby, among many other guestroom renovations. I trust you will find everything much more suitable and to your liking once these renovations are complete. I hope you will consider re-visiting us, especially since we are so close to your business needs right here in Butner. Thank you so much for your patronage and for leaving your valuable feedback!
