Arrived at this hotel and got the luggage on the trolley and checked in ,all good till I went to use the elevator as my room was on the 3rd floor.Elevator was out of order and had been for a week .At no time was I notified before hand or at checking in that the elevator was not working !How was I to get my luggage upstairs ?of course ,advised to use the stairs .When asked for assistance 2 slightly built young girls had to carry or drag my 50 Lb bags up the stairs .So much for Occupational Safety!Apparently they were dragging the linen that way as well.If I had been notified of no elevator and no vacant 1st floor rooms I would have cancelled my booking.Only when I complained did they offer a discount.This hotel is also on a busy road and a train line so expect noise . less
