We stayed for 4 nights at Blu Hotel and it was the best thing about our entire trip. We travel a lot and get in touch with all kind of hotel staff, but the guys here were really nice and helpful. Not only they went out of their way to explain to us what to visit and the best ways to get to the objectives, but they also had nice advice about transportation, what bus & metro to take, what areas to avoid and what are the best hours to do so. The front desk staff was amazingly nice (cheers to Roberto and Daniel), also Ciprian and the breakfast team (Larisa and Catalina) were always smiling and helping everyone who required their assistance.
A big plus for the hotel is the fact that it isn't situated right in the heart of Rome = more quiet time for us after 6 hours of walking through the crowd & traffic. Really nice and safe neighbors, had no problems in the 5 days spent there.
Another big plus is the 409 bus station situated at few minutes of walking, fast connection to Tiburtina Station from where you can easily pick a bus or subway best suitable for your needs.
The hotel has floor tiles and few areas are carpeted, so for some it could be noisy, but it compensates with the cleanliness and the nice staff. less
