Rooms smell of Pot... and the shuttle never comes

I arrived into LAX and needed a simple stop over with an airport shuttle. They claim they have a shuttle but after 3 phone calls and over 1 hour of waiting at the airport, one finally came. Upon arrival I was offered 1000 points as compensation, the equivalent of $4 of their gift card. A JOKE. Finally got to my room and it smelled like Pot. Room was not new at all and the shower head was backwards so I got burnt Turing the hot water down which ended up being hotter. NEVER AGAIN. less

Hello, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We apologize that your stay with us didn't turn out as planned. We will speak to our Shuttle department to uncover what the delay was and will take the steps to ensure we don't keep guest waiting this long. We are a non-smoking hotel but since laws have changed in California people tend to think they can smoke anywhere. We will ensure the air is cleansed completely before offering the room to our guest. Last but not least the points that were given to you are as follows. For every dollar spent we give our guest 10 points. If we gave you 1,000 points then this would give it a dollar value of $100.00 us dollars. I think that is more than $4.00. Thank you and we sincerely hope that you change your mind and give us another opportunity in the future.
